CARPET PATCHESThere's no two ways about it – holes in carpets aren't anyone's idea of a pretty sight (aside from the family dog with a little too much energy in its paws). Other than looking ugly and giving the home a very unkept look, carpet holes and major tears also tend to incur severe financial losses for the owner.
Why? Simple: few owners realize that carpets can be repaired the way Boerne Carpet Cleaning Pros repair them. In most cases, carpet owners imagine a big old patch made from a different material than the fiber and certainly in another color, patched together with conspicuous knots – a picture reminiscent of an active child's trousers. |

Our method couldn't be farther from this: the carpet patching we perform is meant to restore the carpet's original appearance instead of just sealing up a hole. To accomplish this, we'll ask the carpet owner for pictures that feature the carpet in its pristine state and will also ask for in-depth guidelines on what the carpet looked like before the damage. Our technicians will already have a very good idea of these things simply based on the amount of carpets they've worked with, but more info certainly doesn't hurt our mission of treating each carpet as an individual entity.
When possible, we'll try to avoid adding an actual patch of fiber and will instead try to re-weave the holes using appropriate threads. If this isn't possible without leaving the patch with a clear 'scar', we'll apply a piece of cloth that can hardly differ from the rest of the carpet. No matter the method we use, the knotting, seaming and weaving we do will be focused on the carpet's bottom rather than the topside – this greatly enhances the end result and makes noticing patches difficult even for the trained eye.

CARPET STRETCHING
Is your carpet full of lumps so menacing that you find yourself wondering whether the family cat is hiding underneath the fabric? It looks like you could use a bit of carpet stretching, then. For true professionals, carpet stretching is a routine procedure with essentially no risk involved for the carpet itself. We'll take a lumpy and uneven carpet that looks like it's blanketing a mountainside and flatten it out so that it snugly fits every inch of the floor.
That being said, complications can easily arise when you're working with someone who lacks skill (and especially when attempting to do the stretching yourself). While most carpets are exceptionally stury, damage can still occur when they're mishandled: loose knots, tears and even holes from poorly-utilized tools aren't an uncommon byproduct of a haphazard stretching job. To make matters worse, some 'professionals' won't recognize how delicate a carpet is and will try to use force to deal with the more stubborn lumps using the old "might makes right" adage.
We shudder at the thought of such practices just as much as we do when considering how the owners must feel in these situations. Nothing like a carpet cleaning contractor ruining your carpet to completely eliminate your trust in our line of work for the remainder of the century.
Our goal is to restore carpet owners' faith in our trade one job at a time. Our carpet stretching will deal with every lump your carpet could have, from menacing to miniscule, without ever damaging any part of the gentle fabric. Have an older carpet that needs stretching, or one that's made up of delicate or rare fibers? No problem – you'll never have to worry about us damaging it on our way to make it as flat as it can possibly be.

SEAM REPAIR
Sure enough, lumps on a carpet's surface are nasty-looking and will detract from a home's appearance considerably. But sometimes, the biggest aesthetic issues don't need to be at the center of the stage – they can be far out on the sides and still make you wish you never bothered adding a carpet to your home. Having 'seamless' seams is a big part of what makes multiple carpets work regardless of the need for room-to-room transition. Whether you're connecting several carpets together or simply outfitting a single room with a single piece, you should never find yourself thinking "Oh, so this is where the carpet ends".
Even if they're concealed well, seams can become loose over time since they tend to be located right below doors. The friction and constant motion will eventually spell bad news for the integrity of the carpet's sides and things will end up looking as if several angry pets went to town even if you don't own any. Let us handle your seam repairs no matter the extent of the work that needs doing. Maybe the carpets you own covering several adjacent rooms were never connected properly, or maybe they just didn't endure the test of time so well. To us, it doesn't really matter – when we're done, you'll have seams that look as if they're going straight into the floor as opposed to sticking out conspicuously. Aside from repairing loose seams and making an entire side less pronounced, we're also able to bring together two or more carpets in different rooms in a way that will make your visitors wonder where you got such a large single-piece carpet that fits your home to a T.
